Good Shepherd Walking Trail

There is a new walking trail at Good Shepherd Moravian Church at 1474 Kerner Road in Kernersville. The trail is the Eagle Scout project of church member Eric Sapp who received funding help through contributions from the congregation.

The gravel trail begins with a plaque and a statue of St Francis, winding approximately 0.8 mile through the wooded area of Good Shepherd’s property. It is a serene setting, perfect for reflection, meditation, relaxation or exercise. There are additional plans to add benches, bird houses, and landscaping in the form of wild flowers and shrubs.
